Electric Fence Netting
Electric fence netting provides a rapid-deployment perimeter for poultry, sheep, pigs and garden protection against foxes, rabbits and badgers. Gemi Elettronica's netting system combines conducting horizontal strands with non-conducting vertical spacers in a self-supporting structure that drives into most soil types without separate post installation, making it the fastest electric fence option for temporary and mobile applications. Gemi electric fence netting is available in standard roll lengths for poultry, sheep and pig applications. Order direct from the manufacturer for factory pricing and UK delivery in 24–48h. Technical advice on energiser pairing and netting layout is available before purchase.
Poultry and small animal containment
Electrified poultry netting prevents foxes and badgers from digging under or pushing through the fence perimeter — the two failure modes most common with non-electric netting. The lowest conducting strand runs at ground level, deterring digging before the animal's snout reaches the base of the fence. The conducting strands at intermediate heights prevent pushing through without the animal receiving a deterrent pulse from the top strand alone.
Sheep and pig netting
Sheep netting in taller configurations contains ewes with lambs and prevents escape through or under the fence without the intensive shepherding required to maintain a traditional hurdle enclosure. The self-supporting posts built into the netting edge allow the entire fence to be relocated in under thirty minutes by one person, making it practical to move the grazing area daily as part of a mob grazing or adaptive multi-paddock system.
Connection to any Gemi energiser
Electric fence netting connects to the fence terminal of any Gemi energiser — 230V mains, 12V battery or solar — using a standard insulated clip lead. The energiser output required depends on the netting length and the degree of vegetation contact expected; a 12V battery energiser suits short runs in well-grazed conditions, while a mains unit is recommended for long netting perimeters in lush grass.
